Vibration Institute Certified Level III and IV

The Vibration Institute certifies four levels of Vibration Analysis. The VibrAlign PdM Solutions team is made up of analysts certified at the two highest levels: Category III and Category IV. Our analysts’ expertise is based on more than certification – each analyst has more than 20 years of practical experience. Not only does VibrAlign employ the top experts in the business, we take an additional step to ensure quality. Every PdM Solutions report is peer-reviewed prior to final issuance to the client.

About the Vibration Institute
The Vibration Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the exchange of practical vibration information on machines and structures. The Institute was formed in 1972 and currently has more than 3000 members across 37 chapters. The organization administers short courses and an internationally recognized certification program for assessing individual levels of expertise in machinery vibrations, as well as holding a National Technical Training Symposium each year.

The Vibration Institute's Certification Program follows the International Standards Organization standard, ISO 18436, Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics of Machines—Requirements for Training and Certification of Personnel—Part 2: Vibration Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics.

Many manufacturers of vibration data collection equipment, as well as several training companies offer certification in vibration analysis. However, Vibration Institute Certification is widely recognized as the gold standard. It was the Institute that took the initiative to create an internationally recognized curriculum and certify the process with the ISO.
